IF YOU ARE NEW, every Sunday we gather together to sing praises to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The intent of our Celebration service is to inspire & encourage Christians reach out to the world with the life changing message of The Gospel.
What to expect at our Celebration:
Music: At South Redford Christian Church, we love giving glory to our Lord by lifting up His name in song. Our songs range from the most popular traditional hymns to today's favorite worship music. All delivered on most weeks by our praise and worship band.
Offering: After the opening song, we will be taking an offering. At South Redford Christian Church, we believe tithes and offerings are part of our worship and should to be given "Cheerfully" (2 Corinthians 9:7). As a visitor, please do not feel obligated to make a donation. Whether or not you choose to give, please consider the service and fellowship as our gift to you!
Communion: We celebrate the Lord's death, burial and resurrection each week by participating in The Lord's Supper. Communion is offered to all baptized believers. We encourage each believer to participate after personal examination and reflection on how good He has been to us.
Closing / Invitation Song: This decision time is very important for all of us. If you are moved by the Holy Spirit to accept Jesus as your Savior, you may step forward and make your declaration to the minister while the last song is being sung and he will be glad to baptize you into Christ. If you have already been immersed and desire to transfer your membership to the South Redford Christian Church, you should also step forward. Take advantage of the decision time to let Jesus lead your life.
