Our Vision:
From the beginning our prayer has always been that God would give us our vision, that our vision would be caught from Him. Our prayer was to begin to see and understand our community in such a way, so that we could take the Gospel into it in the most effective way possible. We prayed that God would give us a heart for our community and that our hearts would break at the sight of the things that break the heart of God. We desire to serve and engage this lost culture so that we may learn what it is they have placed in highest esteem in their lives instead of placing Jesus Christ there. We believe our acronym CORE addresses four key ministries that place God's people in environments where change will occur, which by God's grace allows us to fulfill His mission in becoming fully devoted followers of Christ. Our acronym represents Celebration, Outreach, Relationships, Equip/Education. The first area is our Celebration of our Lord, which is intended to inspire and encourage people. The Celebration gives people the opportunity to hear the message of the Gospel, preached in a culturally relevant manner. It will also gives those present the opportunity to respond to the Lord in song, demonstrating their adoration for Him. And finally, we will corporately share in a time of communion together, thus remembering what our Lord has done for us. The second area is Outreach to our community. We believe that our presence in demonstrating our faith in tangible ways in the community is vital to the lost seeing Jesus Christ. By demonstrating the servant-hearts our Lord has given us, He will open up opportunities so we can share the message of the Gospel with the lost in our community. We desire this transforming presence in our community, which will clearly communicate Christ's love. The third area is Relationships. We believe in relational transformation which takes place primarily by God's grace and through a committed Christian community in the context of small groups. These small groups give Christians a safe place where they can connect with other believers at an intimate level, being loved, shepherded, encouraged, and prayed for. The Fourth area is Equipping. We believe that it is vital that believers are capable of articulating what they believe about the Bible. Our Equipping/Education ministry allows them to learn basic doctrine, basic apologetics, and the basic skills needed when sharing the Gospel with others. We also desire to offer various Bible book classes.
We envision every member being a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to train, equip, and send out ministry leaders to plant churches, not only in our surrounding communities, but also throughout the world. In essence, our vision as a church is to pursue the heart of God while pursuing the hearts of others with the transforming message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Core Values:
-
We value the teaching of God's Word with integrity and authority, benefiting those seeking Jesus Christ and those desiring to mature in Him (2 Timothy 3:16).
-
We personally value the expression of God's holiness in our lives, as well as corporately in a culturally relevant worship setting (Romans 12:1-2).
-
We value the dependence on both private and corporate prayer as we seek God's will personally and corporately as His church (1 John 5:14-15).
-
We value being prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks us to give the reason for our hope in Jesus Christ (1 Peter 3:15).
-
We value that Jesus Christ did not come to be served but to serve. Our desire is to also live in this manner (Mark 10:45).
-
We value excellence in every area of ministry. God gave His best in Jesus Christ, and we strive to also give our best back to Him. (Colossians 3:23-24).
-
We value the heart and compassion of Jesus. We desire to meet needs and share the love of Christ with those who are lost (Mark 6:34; 8:1-2).
-
We value the community of believers and their families. We are committed to giving them opportunity to grow spiritually, build authentic relationships, mutually edify each other, while learning biblical principles to be fruitful. We desire to see the face of Christ, and to be conformed into His image (Acts 2:44-46; Romans 8:28-29).
