Angel Food Ministries available to South Redford Christian Church Members Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 35 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.
Recently, Mt. Hope Congregational Church in Livonia became an approved Host Site for the Angel Food Ministries: "With food prices rising almost daily across the country, just about everyone is feeling the pinch. Budgets are tight right now, and Mt. Hope, along with Angel Food Ministries, is dedicated to making eating well a little easier for us all. Offering food packages at about half the price of what you would pay in a grocery store will free up needed money for other important things. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity for high quality, affordable food every month, and that you'll pass on the good news to others you know who might be interested in taking part."
